Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Birthday Party Crafts (empregoreal.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free guides and tutorials about handmade birthday party decorations and craft projects, for general information and personal enjoyment. It is a hobby craft site and does not provide professional advice of any kind. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it.

Safety

The projects on the site use scissors, craft knives, hot glue, other adhesives, string, elastic cord and small decorative parts. You are responsible for working safely and for deciding whether a project, a material or a finished decoration is suitable for you, for your guests or for a child in your care. The site makes no claim that any project or material is safe for children.

  • Cutting tools and hot glue. Craft knives are sharp and hot glue can burn. Both are tools for adults. Cut on a cutting mat, away from the hand that holds the ruler.
  • Materials. Read and follow the label of every glue, paint, marker and tool you use.
  • Children. Children should be supervised by an adult, particularly for cutting and for anything involving small parts, cord, string or picks. Small items such as beads, paper gems and confetti are not suitable for very young children.
  • Heat and flames. Paper, tissue and crepe decorations burn easily. Keep them away from candles, stoves, heaters and hot light bulbs.
  • Food. Paper toppers and picks are decorations. Keep paper and glue out of the food and remove toppers before serving or eating.
  • Hanging decorations. Check that anything hung overhead is secure, and test tapes and adhesives on a hidden spot before using them on walls or furniture.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Birthday Party Crafts. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and use the guides for personal, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
  • make and use decorations you have made yourself by following the guides;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole articles or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.

The projects taught on the site are built from simple generic shapes. Our rights relate to our own written instructions and illustrations, not to stars, pennants, rainbows or other common motifs, which anyone is free to use.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Birthday Party Crafts is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from following its guides. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
